25th Iteration of the International Spin Symposium (SPIN 2023): 2nd circular
Dear Colleagues,
This is the 2nd Circular for the the 25th International Spin Symposium (SPIN 2023) to be held in Durham, NC, from September 24-29, 2023. The conference will be hosted at the Durham Convention Center in downtown Durham, near Duke University. The Symposium is one of the pre-eminent venues bringing together theorists and experimentalists in the field of spin physics. It is held every two years, alternating between the U.S., Europe and Asia.
The conference will have an exciting plenary and parallel program which you can peruse at the conference website spin2023.phy.duke.edu.

The registration is now open and can be accessed at https://events.duke.edu/spin2023
The deadline is August 20 but we are hoping that you register as early as possible.

Abstract Deadline Extension

There is still an opportunity to submit abstracts. The abstract deadline has been extended to July 16. Let us point you in particular to the poster session. While anybody is encouraged to submit abstracts for the poster session, it will be an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their research progress. We are happy to offer a reduced registration fee for students participating in the poster session.

Financial Support

While the initial deadline for financial support requests expired, we still have limited funds available. Please use the financial support form on the conference webpage to apply for a reduced conference fee if you otherwise cannot attend the conference. Please do so by July 16.

Student Posters

We want to encourage students to participate and show their research.
To this end we are happy to offer a reduced conference fee for students that want to participate in the poster session.
